Students walk in the footsteps of Jesus

The Christian Drama School of New Jersey re-enacted Jesus’ walk to Golgotha on Good Friday. Sydney Dahl, 15, of Denville portrayed Mary. Students carried a cross for four miles between Boonton Township and Denville. More than 80 tenns, 50 children and college students, representing 31 churches in Morris and Sussex counties, led their families and friends from the Rockaway Valley United Methodist Church in Boonton Township to the Denville Community Church. Students were dressed in Biblical costumes.
Jesus was portrayed by 18-year-old Josh Bingham of Mountain Lakes. He is followed by 16-year-old Danielle Meade.
