Step dancers lead a section of the Morris County St. Patrick’s Day parade on March 15 in Morristown. A key sponsor of the annual event was the Irish American Association of Northwest New Jersey, based in Rockaway, along with Friendly Sons of St. Patrick. The parade originated in Wharton in 1979 and moved to Morristown in 1990 when it outgrew the borough.

If St. Patrick didn’t chase all of the snakes out of town on Saturday, these muskets sure did.
