Student News for March 19
Taryn Hubbard, daughter of Richard Hubbard of Dover, was named to the Dean’s List at Ithaca College’s School of Humanities and Sciences.
Oratory Preparatory School has announced the names of the students who have earned academic recognition in one of the three designated honor rolls. Students named to High Honors include: 10th graders Malcolm Bare of Denville and Jamie MacRae of Parsippany and 12th grader John Shea of Denville. Students named to Honors include: 11th grader Conor Shea of Parsippany and 12th graders Paul Cubelli of Boonton Township and Miguel Fojas of Rockaway.
Joseph Selimo, a 2005 graduate of Mountain Lakes High School, has been named to the Dean's Commendation List at Gettysburg College for the fall 2007 semester. He is studying pre-med towards a doctorate in physical therapy.
Samantha Selimo, a freshman, has been named on the Dean's List at Kennesaw State University in Georgia for the fall 2007 semester. She also cheers for their competitive cheer program. She is a 2007 graduate of Mountain Lakes High School and is working toward a degree in elementary education.
Alison Y. Chin of Parsippany and Brian Rozynski of Lake Hiawatha have been named to the Dean’s List for fall 2007 at The University of Hartford.
Daniel Wong, a freshman majoring in biochemistry at the University of Rochester, has been named to the Dean’s List for academic achievement in the College of Arts, Sciences and Engineering for the fall 2007 semester. Wong, a resident of Towaco, is the son of Paul and Kathy Wong and a graduate of Montville Township High School.
Elie Niijima Farah, a freshman majoring in molecular genetics at the University of Rochester, has been named to the Dean’s List for academic achievement in the College of Arts, Sciences and Engineering for the fall 2007 semester. Farah, a resident of Denville, is the son of Nicolas and Keiko Farah and a graduate of the Academy for Mathematics, Science and Engineering in Rockaway.
Debra Ann Larson of Denville has been named to the Dean’s List at Montclair State University for the fall 2007 semester. She is the daughter of Darrel and Theresa McDermott Larson.
Katrino Musto, a 2005 graduate of Parsippany High School, has been named to the Dean’s List at Fairleigh Dickinson University, Madison. She is a junior and a communications major and was inducted into the Communications Honor Society, Lamda Pi Eta. She is currently interning at New Jersey Business Magazine in Fairfield.
