Austin Peter Beccia of Boonton Township has been named to the Dean’s List at Drew University for the fall 2007 semester. He is the son of Keith and Beth Beccia of Boonton Township and a 2007 graduate of Mountain Lakes High School.   

 

Caldwell College recently named 280 students to the fall 2007 Dean’s list, according to Paul Douillard, Ph.D., vice president and dean of academic affairs.  These local residents were among them: Kaitlin Baird, Rockaway; Lorissa Bertolini, Denville; Francesca Bonaccorsi, Towaco; Samantha Boos, Montville; Calistus Christian, Pine Brook; Meghan Dunn, Boonton; Allison Riker, Parsippany; Gina Ruggiero, Montville; Aaron Tucker, Montville; Anthony Vocaturo, Boonton; Amirpasha Zandieh, Wharton.

 

Three Parsippany residents have been named to the fall 2007 Semester Dean’s List at Essex County College. They are Sharmila Gyanchand, Fatima Mohammad and Andria Park.

 

Richie Golden of Pine Brook received a 4.0 in his fall semester from County College of Morris.

 

Ashley Henschel, daughter of Mr. and Mr. James Henschel of Boonton, has been named to the Dean’s List at the New York Institute of Technology in New York City. Ashley is a fifth-year student majoring in architecture. She will study in Egypt this summer, completing her thesis in the fall. She is a 2003 graduate of Boonton High School.

 

Kevin Maulbeck, in the School of the Arts and Communication at The College of New Jersey, has earned a place on the Dean’s List. He is the son of Joe and Janet Maulbeck and a Rockaway Borough resident.

 

Marc Mustachio has achieved Dean's List and Honors recognition from Alan Oppenheim, dean of the School of Business at Montclair State University. Mustachio, a graduate of Morris Knolls High School, is a junior at Montclair State, majoring in business administration with a concentration in marketing.  Dr. Alan Oppenheim has also notified Mustachio that the Beta Gamma Sigma National Honor Society has voted to recognize him for his outstanding scholastic achievement. Mustachio will be inducted as a member at a dinner at Montclair State on April 25 and will wear the Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Cords at his university graduation ceremony next year. 

 

Rowan University has announced its fall 2007 Dean’s List. Area residents who made the Dean’s List include: Eric J. Aldrich of Boonton Township, a senior majoring in music-education; Kelly M. Mackenzie of Boonton, a freshman, majoring in psychology. From Lake Hiawatha: Kevin M. Brown, a freshman majoring in business administration-management and Meg E. DiNapoli, a sophomore majoring in education-elementary education. Scott R. McGowan, of Montville, a senior majoring in law/justice. From Parsippany: Jacquelyn M. Halbach, a junior majoring in education-elementary education; Nicole M. Paterno, a sophomore majoring in psychology; Brian Remus, a senior majoring in marketing; Amanda Siedenburg, a freshman majoring in art and Daniel R. Tullo, a senior majoring in marketing. From Towaco: Jocelyn W. Hsu, a senior majoring in studio art-graphic design and Edmund O’Brien, a senior majoring in biochemistry. From Dover: Dana E. Bender, a senior majoring in HES (Health promotion/Fitness management); James R. Kelly, a sophomore majoring in law/justice and Anthony C. Perez, a freshman majoring in radio/television/film. Colleen C. Fahrer, of Mine Hill, a senior majoring in business administration-management. From Denville: James E. Bound, a sophomore majoring in biological science; Christine B. Clark, a freshman majoring in Spanish; Emily M. Einstein, a freshman majoring in psychology; Meredith J. Eisentat, a freshman majoring in business administration - human resource management; Jennifer M. Golinski, a junior majoring in English and Lauren Oliveri, a freshman majoring in advertising. From Rockaway: Jessica R. Bischoff, a senior majoring in business administration - human resource management; Molly E. Sagaas, a senior majoring in education - elementary education and Steven A. Zelinsky, a freshman majoring in accounting. From Wharton: Matthew P. Gorgas, a freshman majoring in civil engineering and Amber E. Martucci, a senior majoring in English.

 

Two Rockaway residents have been named to the Dean’s List at Johnson & Wales University in Providence, RI: Maxwell Grippo who is studying in the College of Culinary Arts and Melissa Celli who is studying in The Hospitality College.

 

Bucknell University in Lewisburg, PA, has released the Dean’s List for outstanding academic achievement during the 2007-08 fall semester. Two sisters from Rockaway who met this standard are: Kristen M. Schibener, a 2004 graduate of Morris Hills High School, is a senior majoring in music education, she gave her Senior Vocal Recital at Rooke Chapel in November. Accompanied by David Cover, University pianist and organist, Schibener, a soprano, presented a program of singing classical music composed by Mozart, Schubert and Bellina, among others. A reception was given in her honor. Wendy S. Schibener, who graduated from Morris  Hills High School in 2006, is a sophomore majoring in English and theater arts. She played the lead role of Sarah in "A Time for Farewells" by playwright Damian Trasler presented by the Bucknell University department of theater and dance, and also directed a one-act play, "Mere Mortals," written by David Ives. She recently completed an externship at "The Washington Times," publishing two articles in the newspaper as part of Bucknell University's internship/externship program. Both are daughters of Donna Spinweber and the late Charles Schibener.

 

Erin Stahl of Boonton Township, daughter of Michael and Kathleen Stahl, an English major, with minors in education and Spanish, was named to the Dean’s List at Fairfield University for the fall 2007 semester.

 

The University of Connecticut announced the students who attained the Dean's List for the fall 2007 semester. They include: from Denville, Kristin Marie Brosius, an agriculture and natural resources major; Kimberly Starr Markoff, a liberal arts and science major and Marissa Nicole Meade, an education major. From Mt. Tabor, Emily Jean Embler who is enrolled in the ACES academic program. From Parsippany, Michelle Beth Bobier, a liberal arts and science major; Jennifer Lynn Deaborn, a liberal arts and science major and Ashley Tavares DiCicco who is enrolled in the ACES academic program. From Rockaway, Anita Ramesh Patel and Chelsea Seidenberg, both of whom are enrolled in the ACES program. From Towaco: Kimberly Keating Depietro, a business major.

 

These Rockaway residents, students at University of Delaware, made the 2007 fall semester Dean's List: Ashley Annelies Ings a junior accounting major in the College of Business and Economics, Jason Kohn a junior music education - instrumental major in the College of Arts and Sciences and Leigh Anne Wagner a sophomore international business studies major in the College of Business and Economics.

 

Washington College in Chestertown, MD has announced its Dean’s List for the fall 2007 semester. Mountain Lakes resident Alexander C. Joyce, a freshman and the son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward F. Joyce, IV, was among those named.
