Stanley T. McGinley
Stanley T. McGinley, 68, died suddenly on June 20 at St. Barnabas Medical Center at Livingston.
Mr. McGinley was born in Brooklyn, NY, and was resident of Bronx, NY, from 1968 to 1974 and, in 1974, he moved to Denville.
Mr. McGinley served in the United States National Guard from 1959 to 1964. He received his associate’s degree in computer science at NYU and his bachelor’s degree in accounting at PACE University. He was employed as a computer programmer manager at Dunn & Bradstreet, New York, NY, as the director of technical support and communications at Newsweek, Mountain Lakes and as a computer specialist at ADP, Roseland. He was a member of St. Mary’s Church.
He is survived by his wife, Theresa M. McGinley; his son, Jeff McGinley and his wife, Rosa, of Boonton Township; his daughter, Kim Luer, and her husband, Dave, of Anchorage, AK; his granddaughters, Anabelle, Aurora, and Veronica; his sister, Irene Volpe of Denville; a nephew and two nieces.
Helen Louise Bardi
Helen Louise Bardi, 91, was born on Oct. 18, 1916 and died on June 23. She lived in the Indian Lake section of Denville.
Her husband, Dominic Bardi, predeceased her.
She is survived by her sons, Robert William “Bob” and Donald Alan “Al,” her grandchildren, Bobby, Blue, Guy, Christie and Dominic, three great grandchildren, Carisa, Kala and Blake and one great-great grandson, Robert.
Mine Hill
George Dunn
George Dunn died on Monday, June 23 at Morristown Memorial Hospital, he was 78 years of age.
Born in Rockaway Township, he lived most of his life in Mine Hill.
He had worked in security.
His brother, Charles W. predeceased him in 1996.
He is survived by his nephew, James Dunn of Stroudsburg, PA and niece Joanne Dunn of Berkshire Valley.

Elizabeth Novak
Elizabeth Ann “Liz” Novak, a loving and caring mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend passed away on June 24 at Compassionate Care Hospice at Saint Clare’s Hospital/Dover after a yearlong illness. She was 93.
A lifelong resident of Rockaway Borough, Elizabeth was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish in Rockaway.
A woman devoted to her family, friends and faith, she always put the needs of others before her own. She was an avid gardener and amazing cook.
She was the wife of George Novak, who passed away in 1978. A member of the Hric family, Liz was predeceased by four brothers - George, John, Steven and Andrew.
She is survived by her beloved daughter, Bette C. Smith and her husband, William E. of Stuart, FL; three grandchildren, Craig Steven Smith and his wife, Mary Ann, of Dover, Tracey E. Smith of FL and Mark William Smith and his wife, Pam, of PA; two great-grandchildren Mark William Smith and his wife, Natalie, and Jacob Smith of PA; a sister, Ann VanStrander and her husband, Roger, of PA and a number of nieces and nephews.

Albert J. P. Kentos, Jr.
Albert J. P. Kentos Jr., 64, died on June 19, at his home in the Marcella section of Rockaway Township.
He was born in Dover and was a lifelong resident of Rockaway.
Albert Kentos served in the U.S. Air Force in the early 1960s.
He had been an electronics technician for Honeywell in Fairfield for over 25 years, before becoming a postal clerk in the Millington Post Office, where he has worked for the last 15 years.
His love for the outdoors was a big part of his life and he was a member of the Rockaway Twp. Sportsman Club.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Hall, who he married in Butler in 1974, his children, Gloria Weaver of Hopatcong, Alison Kentos and Joseph Kentos and his mother, Mary Kentos, all of Marcella, his grandchildren, Michael Weaver, Cory Weaver, Emily Weaver, Ashley Weaver, and Tyler Sendner, his brother, John Kentos of Stanhope, and his sisters, Mary Ann Marston of Succasunna, Barbara Kolvites of Tolland, CT and Katherine Barlak of Boonton.
Linda Darlene Ciurciu
Linda Darlene Ciurciu died on June 24 at UMDNJ in Newark after a short illness. She was 51.
Born in Walton, NY, she lived in Rockaway Twp. for the past 30 years.
Mrs. Ciurciu was a homemaker.
She was predeceased by three brothers, Jack, Donald and Gerald Walley.
She is survived by her husband Bill; three children, Corinne Ciurciu, Erica Powers and Billy Ciurciu; eight sisters, Golden Virginia Cook, Pearl Smith, Rosie Moore, Gloria Schror, Joan Geer, Mechele Wormuth, Debbie Debeaux and Ruthie Schaefer; a brother, Russell Walley and two grandchildren, Ethan Thomas Degnan and Isabella Powers.
