The deadline to submit press releases (your own news story) for publication in Neighbor News is 3 p.m. on Thursday for the following week’s edition. Send photos and press releases by mail to: Editor, 100 Commons Way, Rockaway, NJ 07866; or by e-mail to: neighbor@northjersey.com.
Press releases, but not photos, can be faxed to the editor at 973 586-8199.
Please be aware that just because a press release is received by 3p.m., it does not necessarily mean that the release will be included in the following week's edition. Press releases are put in the paper in a timely manner, as space permits. If your press release is dated, please be sure to include the date.Neighbor News' editorial staff makes every effort to ensure that time sensitive materials are used in advance of their date.
